IS PRETTY LINGERIE JUST FOR GIRLS?

“I don’t think men even notice lingerie.”

I am out drinking with two straight friends on a Saturday night. “Your man doesn’t notice when you wear lacy underwear?”

“God, no,” my new blonde friend says. “I could be wearing grandma panties and he wouldn’t notice the difference.”

“I think girls buy lingerie for themselves,” says my dynamically funny brunette friend, Maria. “The minute you’re in a relationship, the fancy underwear stays in the dresser.”

“That’s a real drag,” I say. “My man loves when I wear garters. When I first met him, I still wore tights and he bought me my first set of garters. After, I was hooked. Not only do I feel sexier when I know everything under my clothes is so pretty, garters do allow for easier access.”

The girls laugh and for a moment I am proud to be their “wild” bisexual friend. Who else could they ask about lingerie?

As I head home, I feel for my straight girlfriends. They take the time to dress up their gorgeous bodies in lace, satin and mesh, only to have their exquisite wrapping paper go unnoticed. Once again, I am grateful to be bi.

1. GIRLS NOTICE LINGERIE
One of the sweetest things about dating girls is the certainty that they will notice and appreciate lovely lingerie. It doesn’t matter if it is just a bra or a pantie with a little lace and a tiny bow with a rhinestone center. Even the daintiest of lingerie items will catch a girl’s eye and make her ooh and ahh.

2. GIRLS WILL APOLOGIZE IF THEIR PANTIES AREN’T PRETTY
Occasionally, a bi-girl will have a surprise love connection with another girl. Since she did not know that the evening would end in passionate play, she did not get to wear her “good” lingerie. Sure, boys may not know the difference between cotton briefs and ruffled sheer panties, but girls sure do. To me, nothing is more darling than hearing a girl say, “Oh my God, I am so embarrassed that I am wearing these. Seriously, I have much cuter stuff I normally wear…” If a girl apologizes for you for the quality of her lingerie, simply say to her, “I guess you’ll have to make that up to me next time.” I am certain she will show up to your next date in bows and ribbons and lace.

3. PRETTY UNDERTHINGS MAKE YOU FEEL GORGEOUS NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE DATING
Even if your man does not notice your baby-doll mesh slip or the matching garters peeking out from underneath, you do. Going out knowing how much sexy splendor is hidden under your black dress gives you a secret power that will attract others.
4. IF HE DOESN’T NOTICE THE BEGUILING LAYERS UNDER YOUR CLOTHES, FIND A GIRL WHO DOES
So many women spend hours shopping, primping, and dressing to impress men. This is fine, but if you have a guy that does not notice how pretty and dressed up you are, you may be dating the wrong guy. Trust me, all it takes is one night in a club with another girl noticing your lace-top stockings and delicately stroking your leg, and your man will understand the power of lingerie. If he does not, he may not be the right guy for you.

5. HAVE A FRIEND TAKE PICTURES OF YOU IN FETCHING UNDERGARMENTS
If you and a girlfriend spend a night together dressing in lingerie sets and taking pictures, he may just come to the realization that you are a sex goddess. If he doesn’t, you have some new gorgeous pictures to attract the right lover into your life.

6. YOUR FEMALE LOVER WILL BUY YOU LINGERIE IF HE WON’T
One marvelous advantage to being bisexual is if you find the right female lover, she might enjoy buying you lingerie. Many men do not buy lingerie for their lovers because they do not want to purchase the wrong size. Girls, however, are more clever. One friend was surprised when her female lover bought her a whole bra set. “How did you know my size,” she asked. “I looked at the labels in your underwear while you were showering!” Don’t you just love girls?

7. IT’S FUN TO BUY MATCHING LINGERIE SETS WITH A LOVER
Going shopping for lingerie with a beautiful girlfriend can be one of the most sensual experiences a girl can have. Something about dressing rooms, undressed girls and camisoles makes for a splendidly wicked afternoon. Tell your man you are going shopping with your lover and I am certain he will want to see what you both purchased.
