Anther trick is I put a couple different colors in my hair, an orange at the roots and blood red at the tips. When it's fresh you can't see much difference but then as it fades out I get lots of different colors - and compliments (they think I've redone it!) so I only recolor maybe every other month or so. As well as rinsing it with vinegar water right after you color your hair! I dye my hair most of all, in fact my hair is purple and black right now.
