Hey there – Great post! Thought you might like to know that the DC bi women’s scene really rocks, too. We have a very active group that meets for dinner and discussion twice monthly, as well as for happy hour twice monthly. Also an email list with 575 members. That group also had a booth at DC Pride last month.
We also have a group based here called Bi and Lesbian Married Women that meets for potluck brunch once a month. It’s mostly bi women, and that yahoogroup has 250.
One of the community organizers just had her annual All Girl Naked Pool Party with 40 women in attendance.
As you’ve noted, it’s common here, too, for members to step up and organize ad hoc outings for coffee, dinner, movies, whatever. We even have a group of stay-at-home bi moms who get together at each other’s houses.
So, there’s a lot going on for bi women here in your nation’s capital, too.
